Improving the lives of Haitians and advocating for a truly independent Haiti.

From 1804 to 1915 Haiti was a sovereign state under a republican form of government. As a recognized sovereign nation she became a signatory to The Hague Convention of 1907. She won her independence from France in 1804.
She was deprived of it in 1915 by the United States.
Since then we have been in virtual control of her territory, our marines have been in military occupation of the country, and the former republic has been stripped by us of every vestige of her sovereignty.
Haitian Development Network Foundation is fighting for the application of the 1987 Constitution articles 32-7, 81, 87-2, 209, 211-1, 246, 255, 266, and 277.
We have a lot of work to do for Haiti to achieve true independence, and HDN FOUNDATION is ready to do it. But we cannot win this fight on our own. We need your support to make this happen.
